Shirley Ann Archer

Shirley Ann Archer passed into heaven peacefully on October 3, 2023.  She was born February 27, 1943 in Piggott, Arkansas to Orville and Ethel (Hickson) Wallace.  
 
Shirley met her husband, Douglas Archer in Phoenix, Arizona and they were married on March 10, 1962.  Shirley enjoyed traveling with her husband as he worked as truck driver.  They also enjoyed traveling together in their motorhome. Shirley loved to bake, and took great pride in her gardening, often spending hours of the day outside.  On May 15, 2013, Douglas passed away.  After this, Shirley spent most of her time enjoying her family.
 
Shirley is survived by her children, Terry Dodendorf, Lisa Sprague and Ray Archer; 7 grandchildren; and 16 great-grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her husband, Douglas; her parents, and all her siblings, Bud, Lehmen, Charles, Paul, Bill, Ruby and Flo.
 
Funeral Services will be held at 1:30pm Thursday, October 12, 2023 at National Memorial Cemetery of Arizona in Phoenix.  A Celebration of Life will be held at a later date for close family.
