Sherlene Ann (Culbertson) Ernst

Sherlene Ann Ernst was born on March 11, 1952 in Seattle, Washington to the proud parents Dwane and Sherlee Cubertson. She passed away on October 6, 2025 in Sedona, Arizona.  She is survived by her husband Jack Ernst of Sedona, Arizona, her daughter Rechelle Wong of Renton, Washington, her stepchildren Wendy Berry of Lakewood, Washington and Jaxon Ernst of Port Angeles, Washington eleven grandchildren and her sister Susan Peters of Ozark, Missouri. 

Sherlene was a beautiful blonde who loved her life on the family farm with her horse Dolly.  She graduated from Redmond High School and represented Redmond, Washington as their Seafair Princess in the Seatle Seafair Pageant. 

She invested fully in raising her kids as a stay-at-home mom, and as they got older she became fascinated by fitness and was a successful aerobics instructor.  She was a loving caring wife and after moving to Springfield Missouri Jack’s biggest fan as he finished his career as Superintendent of schools. As an active member of the junior league in Missouri, she became an amateur fashion model for them.  Upon retirement she again enjoyed modeling and volunteering for Sedona for Twice Nice. She and Jack were active participants and fervent supporters of the development of Summit Life Church in Sedona.  In retirement, they spent time traveling, interior decorating and collecting eclectic treasures.  She was Jack’s soulmate, partner, and favorite person and the only things she loved more than her sweets was each and every one of her grandkids.
