On December 10, 1941, Rosalie was born in Lumberport, West Virginia. She was the eighth of eleven children born to Eva Mae (Miller) and Howard Basil Loudin. She married Paul Arthur Sanders, Sr. (Pete) on Christmas Eve 1960. Together, Pete and Rosie raised four children. Over the years, Rosie loved sending funny birthday cards to family and friends. She hosted many Christmas Eve parties and Easter Egg hunts for the family. She would always chat with strangers when she was out and about. She loved spending time with her grandchildren, attending their school performances, and watching them grow up. After Pete’s passing, she relocated to Arizona to be near her son and his family, and to enjoy her great-grandchildren. There she met Jose Cisneros. Rosie and “Joe” were wed on November 26, 2016. They were married seven years before Joe’s passing.
Rosalie died on January 11, 2025, in Cottonwood, Arizona. She was 83 years old. She will be laid to rest in Quantico National Cemetery in Virginia. She is survived by her four children: Paul Sanders, Jr., Cynthia (Cindy) Hurst, Michele Frank, and Tabitha Dingess, along with their respective spouses. At the time of her passing, Rosie had 13 grandchildren and 13 great-grandchildren and one on the way.
