Robert F. Quirk, 78, passed away after a brief battle with cancer on Thursday, April 23, 2026, at his home in Cornville, Arizona under hospice care. He was predeceased by his parents Francis Quirk and Edith (Nickerson) Quirk and his sister Sandra.
Bob was born and raised in Middletown, CT. He graduated from Middletown High School and attended Middlesex Community College. He was a US Army veteran, a member of the New Britain Quartette Club for 19 years, and a member of the B.P.O.E. Middletown Lodge 771 for 37 years. Bob was an entrepreneur, founding both Alpha Circuits and Printed Circuit Services. He finished his professional career as an Implementation Consultant at Aetna and retired after 14 years with the company. Bob and his wife Jackie moved to Arizona in 2013, where he enjoyed milder winters, driving his Audi A4, and participating in Slot Tournaments in Las Vegas.
Bob loved his family and friends and was an avid golfer for years until health issues became too much for the sport. He also loved animals, and he and Jackie rescued both dogs and cats from shelters, providing a safe and loving home for them all.
Bob is survived by his wife Jacqueline Dupuis; his daughter Christina (Quirk) Mola, son-in-law Douglas, and granddaughters Nicole and Corinne. He is also survived by Todd Densmore and Gloria Quirk.
A celebration of life will be held at the Quartette Club in New Britain, CT; date and time to be announced. Please share your condolences at www.buelerfuneralhome.com.
