Pietro N. LoParco (85), of Utica, NY, who called Sedona, AZ his home, passed away on September 6, 2023, surrounded by family members: his daughter, Tami Mayes; granddaughter, Erin Perkins; and grandson-in-law, Dustin Perkins.
Pietro, also known as Pete or Petey, was born to Eugene J. LoParco and Anna M. (Scarafile) LoParco, on May 24, 1938, in Utica, NY. He moved to his beloved Sedona in 1967, where he grew his family, enjoyed many lifelong friends, and built a successful real estate career.
Pietro is survived by his daughters, Tami and Larkie (Jason). He is also survived by his grandchildren, Christina (Ian), Erin (Dustin), Jessica, Reid, and Kendall; his great grandchildren, Brayden, Hunter, Rylee, Alexia, and Dillon; and a large extended family with many nieces and nephews. He is predeceased by his parents, Eugene and Anna; his two brothers, Vicent and Anthony; his sister, Mary; his first and second wives, Helen and Joannie; his son, Timothy; and son-in-law, Robert.
Aside from his career in real estate, Pietro loved the great outdoors, family, friends, sports, cars, shoes, fashion, beautiful women, animals, rocks, and everything in between. He loved life and the experiences life offered to him.
Pietro's family will host a funeral service, which will include military honors, on Saturday, October 21, 2023 at 10:00am. Services will be held at the Bueler Camp Verde Funeral Home at 143 W. Arnold St., Camp Verde, AZ 86322. Followed by a celebration of life, date to be determined.
