Paul Ray Huffman 1945 - 2023

Paul Ray Huffman passed away Feb 1, 2023, in Sedona, Arizona, aged 77 years.
He is preceded in death by his father, Col. Orland Glenn Huffman and mother, Danna May Huffman.
   Paul was born in Midland, Texas, May 5, 1945. His father was in the Air Force and was posted in various locations throughout the world. As a result, Paul grew up in Japan, Germany, France and the United States, and traveled with his family throughout Europe and parts of Asia.  
     Paul was a licensed architect in Arizona and Colorado. He received his education at Trinity University in San Antonio, Texas and University of Texas in Austin, where he majored in Architecture.
    In 1970, after university, Paul moved to Denver, Colorado, where he lived until 1985. Paul moved to Sedona in 1987 where he co-founded Sedona Adventures and Jeep Tour Company in 1988, which was eventually sold to another tour company.
    Paul was a kind and gentle soul, and a deeply spiritual person. He loved to bike, hike, camp and meditate in the beautiful hills of Sedona. Paul was also passionate about art, music and architecture.
    Paul is survived by his sister, Jeanne Porter, and nephews Steve Porter and Greg Porter, as well as his longtime friend and partner Joanne Dosé.
