Nancy Ackerman Wright
August 14, 1939 ~ January 14, 2024 (age 84) 84 Years Old
Nancy Rose Ackerman, 84, took her last breath at home in Camp Verde. She was surrounded by those who loved her on Sunday, January 14th, 2024.
Nancy was the third of four children born to Troy and Lois Pierce in Holcomb, Mo. After several moves, the family settled in southern Illinois where she met and married the love of her life, Bob. Together they raised three beautiful children Amy, Vance and Scott. The Ackerman family began a journey through the midwest in 1964. Along the way they made life-long friends and memories in Kewanee Ill, and Stoughton Wi.
Bob, Nancy and their sons, relocated to the Verde Valley in 1978. In 1980, Nancy began a career helping families create memories in their new homes by joining Lovett Land Company, as a realtor. In 1989, she and her business partner, began a journey together that would last until Nancy’s retirement in 2007 from Camp Verde Reality.
This beautiful woman’s life was filled with music and love. When she was young, Nancy’s dream was to be a wife, mother, and faithful servant of the Lord. She was successful in her achievements leaving behind a sister, 2 sons, 7 grandchildren, 11 great grandchildren, a great, great grandson, and a cross country extended family.
A private graveside ceremony will be provided by Bueler’s Funeral Home. A Celebration of Life will be held at Parkside Church Saturday, March 2nd, 2024 at 1pm.
In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to St. Jude’s Children’s Hospital, or Northern Arizona Hospice.
