Margaret Emma Bowers-whose radiant smile could light up an entire room, passed away surrounded by the love of her family in her home. She leaves behind a legacy woven from kindness, resilience, humor, and the countless small moments that made her unforgettable.
She cherished simple joys — morning breakfasts at Denny’s, the batteries she kept in the refrigerator “just in case,” and the endless stash of candy she always seemed to have on hand. Her hands were rarely still; she poured her heart into crocheting and creating many dolls that brought comfort and delight to those around her.
From a young age, she carried a spirited independence. She would escape from home and run away to the property for hours, finding peace in the open air. That same determination shaped her life as an adult. She worked tirelessly as a housekeeper, a role she held with pride and dedication until retiring at the remarkable age of 81.
Her life was defined by hard work, quiet strength, and a love that showed itself in everyday gestures. She brightened the world not through grand gestures, but through the warmth she shared, the laughter she sparked, and the memories she created with those fortunate enough to know her.
She will be deeply missed and forever remembered by her family, friends, and all who were touched by her generous spirit.
She is survived by her son Christopher Woida (Anna), granddaughters Tracey Dawson (Walt), Candace Williams (Trevor), and Melissa Woida. Her 9 great grandkids Tony, Stephanie, Kayla, Jordan, Charli, Elliott, Lyla, Wyatt and Raelynn.
Services will be kept private.
