Margaret Angus Obituary

On Sunday, September 25, 2022 Margaret Rose Angus, loving wife and mother of six children, 22 grandchildren and 39 great-grandchildren passed away at the age of 88 peacefully at her home with children and her husband, Raymond Angus at her side. Peggy, as her friends called her, grew up in northeastern Pennsylvania and Ohio to German immigrants Michael and Emma Kramer with her siblings, Robert, Richard and Gloria. They had a family-run store and produce business they ran during the Depression and World War Two era. Her and her siblings all were required to work hard. Their mother, Emma, instilled into her children a love for family and God that they have all gracefully and admirably passed on to future generations. She attended Burton High School where she met Raymond Angus. They married and spent the next 70 plus years together. They raised six children, Terry, Debbie, Tim, Donna, Ted and Kathy. Peggy had arthritis and the cold, damp weather in Ohio really was not an option so in 1977 the whole family moved to Sedona, Az. where the dryness really helped. Peggy was a wonderful mother and grandmother. She doted on her family and was happiest when any of them were around her. She loved to hear their stories and provide advice. She loved watching mysteries on TV and bargain shopping. She loved garage sales. She was funny, too. Always had a great sense of humor. She would take on all her children's challenges and tackle them no matter how old they were. She would literally give the shirt off her back for any of her family or friends. Another one of her joys was her friends at the Kingdom Hall of Jehovah's Witnesses. She was so proud of her faith. She battled many illnesses and they were always there for her in all ways as they still are for Raymond. All of her family so much appreciated that. She will be greatly missed and never replaced in their hearts.

A memorial ceremony will be held at the Kingdom Hall of Jehovah's Witnesses, Cottonwood, AZ on Saturday, October 1, 2022 at 6 p.m.
