Larry Alvin Willis

Larry A Willis, 75 of Camp Verde, Arizona passed away on Saturday December 23, 2023 after a brief illness.  Larry was born in Phoenix, Arizona on April 3, 1948 to the late Anon and Bernice Willis. He was raised in Flagstaff, Arizona and was a graduate of Flagstaff High School. Larry enlisted in the U. S. Air Force directly after graduation and marriage to his lifelong spouse and soul mate Candance (Candy) Willis. After serving in Vietnam, Larry returned home and was employed in the telecommunications industry working for Mountain Bell.  He and Candy moved from Chandler, Arizona to Camp Verde in 1996 where he retired in 2003.

Larry is survived by his loving wife Candy, children Misty and James; son-in-law Ron Wilmot; grandchildren Jarrett and Brian Kurzhals; Jean and Raymond Willis; great granddaughter Jacki Kurzhals; sister Carol Nielsen. Larry is preceded in death by his parents and daughter-in-law Kristina Willis.

No funeral services are being planned however a Celebration of Life will be held at a later date.  In lieu of flowers please consider a donation in Larry’s name to Orange Heart Medal Foundation 13833 Owens Chapel Rd., Springfield, Tennessee 37217.
