Kenneth "Wayne" Landers, 80, of Camp Verde, Arizona, passed away on July 28, 2024.
Wayne was born in Bentonville, Arkansas, to the late Bonnie Lucille Roughton and Kenneth Ray Landers. After World War II ended, Wayne's father moved the family to California.
Wayne grew up in Vallejo, California, graduated high school in 1962, and enrolled in the Air Force for four years. He became a radar technician and was sent to Empire, Michigan. Once there, he was stationed in lower Michigan by Sleeping Bear Sand Dunes on Lake Michigan.
Wayne met his wife, Diana, at the community dance in the winter of 1965, and they married in June 1966. During the next ten years, they were blessed with three sons: Tim, Jeff, and Randy.
Life was very busy raising three sons.
Wayne is survived by his wife of 58 years, Diana. A memorial service will be held on September 28, 2024, at Verde Valley Church of Christ in Camp Verde, AZ.
