Josie Linker 74 of Camp Verde, AZ went to be with Our Lord on May 1, 2025 at her home in Camp Verde, AZ. She left to be with the Lord
She was born January 21, 1951 in San Jose, NM the daughter of Delfinio and Fidelia Sandoval
Everyone who met Josie knew right away this was someone special. She treated strangers as if she had known them forever. Though for many days she was suffering you never knew because she was always so positive, loving, and giving. She was there for everyone. She had a glow inside and out a beauty you can’t describe. She always stood up for what she believed. She was our hero. I hear you can’t be called home until it’s your time, I guess heaven needed a hero.
She is survived by her husband of 51 years Glen Linker; Mom, Fidelia Sandoval; sons, Ogee Linker, Timmy Linker (Raquel), Michael Linker, Nathan Linker and daughter, Iaesha Gutierrez (Anthony); step-son, Shelby Linker (Darla Faye); 14 grandchildren and 4 great-grandchildren; brothers, Delfinio Sandoval, Jr (Mary), Ricky Sandoval (Veronica); sisters, Lorraine Hunter (Bill), Rosie Gonzales (Dave), Dorothy Gonzalez (Ramon) and Debbie Mora; many nephews and nieces who she adored and many aunts and uncles who she loved.
She was preceded in death by her Dad, Delfinio Sandoval, son, Josh Linker and step-son, Kelly Linker
Visitation will be held on Friday May 9th at Journey Church, 750 E Mingus Ave, Cottonwood, AZ 86326 at 10 AM funeral will follow.
