John J Linckens

John J. Linckens passed away suddenly in his sleep on Friday, October 28, 2022, in his home in Cottonwood, Arizona at the age of 66.  John was born on February 23, 1957 in Woodstock, Ontario, Canada.  His family emigrated to Southern California in 1963. John became an avid fisherman, both salt and fresh water. He moved to Cottonwood, Arizona in 2015 where he retired and enjoyed his solitude fishing local lakes and streams.

He is survived by his sister, Maria Drysol of Gresham, Oregon and his brother A. James Linckens of Longmont, Colorado, 3 nieces and 2 nephews.  He is preceded in death by his parents, John Joseph Linckens and his mother, Hildegonda Linckens (nee Groenewagen).
