Jessie Nora Alvey III, 56, of Camp Verde, Arizona, passed away peacefully in his sleep on Monday, July 14, 2025. He was born on July 11, 1969, in Albuquerque, New Mexico, to Jessie N. Alvey Jr. and the late Theresa Kay Spurgeon.
Jessie moved to Tempe, Arizona, in 1984 before settling in Camp Verde in 1986. On November 20, 1992, he married the love of his life, Jocelyn Alvey. They shared nearly 33 years of marriage, with their anniversary approaching this November.
Jessie loved spending time with his family. He was a devoted husband, father, and grandfather who always put his loved ones first. Known for his generous spirit, he never hesitated to help those in need. Jessie had a deep passion for firearms and was committed to teaching gun safety to others. He also had a love for riding motorcycles and thrived on anything that gave him an adrenaline rush.
He is survived by his beloved wife, Jocelyn Alvey; his children: Adriana, Kyla, Jessie N. Alvey IV, Raiven, Jesse Lynn, and Jordan; and his sons-in-law: Aurin, Tyrice, and Emillio. Jessie was a proud grandfather to Richard Jr., Aalijah, Navya, Bjorn, Cleopatra, Ivar, Tsekani, and Nero. He is also survived by his father, Jessie N. Alvey Jr., and his sisters, Shawnee and Santee.
Jessie was preceded in death by his mother, Teresa Kay Spurgeon.
Celebration of Life services will be at 10:30am July 26, 2025. The Lodge at Cliff Castle, 333 W Middle Verde Road, Camp Verde, AZ.
