Jeane F. Reed of Clarkdale, Arizona, passed away into the arms of her Savior, Jesus Christ on Saturday, November 15, 2025. She was born in Santaquin, Utah on July 26, 1934. Her family moved to Arizona when she was just 12 years old. She was a lifelong active member of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints of which she held various callings throughout her life including serving as a missionary for her church. Jeane was a woman of many talents such as crocheting, quilting, sewing, artistic painting, bookkeeping and entrepreneur. She also had opportunities to travel all across America and other foreign countries. Most of all, she considered her family and growing posterity as her greatest blessing.
Jeane was preceded in death by her parents, Blaine Ferrell and Elda Fay Flanders, Brothers Chris, Albert and Vern Flanders, Husband John David Young and son, Jeffery George Young, Nephew David Lee Cox and second husband, Elliott D. Simons. Jeane is survived by her husband, Clell J. Reed, daughters Judith Ann Heath, Jacque Diane Vowell, Jennifer Elaine Cox (Brian) and Janet Teresa Young. Her grandchildren, Teresa Lynn Carrillo (Ernie), John David Schroeder, Elaine Deann Vowell, Justin Everett Young, Crystal Jean Chlup (Adam), Cade Thomas Cox (Heather), Jace Cameron Young and Jack Cowan Young.
She presently has 14 great grandchildren and 9 great-great grandchildren.
Funeral services will be held November 29th at the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints at 1377 Hombre Dr., Cottonwood, AZ. 86326. Viewing at 10:00 a.m., Chapel service at 11:00 a.m. with luncheon following in Culture Hall. Graveside dedication provided by Bueller Funeral Home at Valley View Cemetery.
