Ida Juliann Hazelwood, 60, of Camp Verde, Arizona, passed away in her home on
Thursday, June 13, 2024. She was born in Mesa, Arizona on February 16, 1964, to the late
Dewey and Virginia Bishop. Ida is one of eight siblings and recently celebrated forty-one years
of marriage with her husband, Edwin Hazelwood Sr. Ida loved to tend to her garden, and spend
time with her friends and family.
Ida is survived by her husband, Edwin Sr., and her four children: Vanessa, Edwin Jr.,
Nisi, and Lin. She is also survived by her grandson, Alexander, her sisters: Sherrie, Lavon,
Darlene, and Jeanette, and her brothers: Brian and Clay. Ida is preceded in her passing by her
parents, Dewey and Virginia, and her brother Alan.
Ida wished for her remains to be spread and for her loved ones to
continue fighting and cherishing the good times. As Ida always said, “Never let time pass you
by.” Please share your condolences with the Bishop/Hazelwood family as they move through this
difficult time.
Funeral services will be held at Bueler Funeral Home, 143 W. Arnold Street, Camp
Verde, Arizona 86322 on Saturday, June 22, 2024. Viewing will begin at 10:00 AM with services
immediately following.
