Helen Joy (Lowry) Shaw

Helen “Joy” Shaw, 56 passed away on January 7, 2025. Joy was born in Cottonwood, AZ on December 9, 1968 to the late Joseph & Annabelle Lowry. Joy is survived by her children, Johnny Martin Turner, Zayna Turner (Jonathan Reano), Mariah Turner (Thaddeus Lewis), Marcus Shaw; grandchildren, Zamaya, Thomas, Helena, Maysie, Kai’Sik, Kai’Loni, and Kai’Rosen, and her sister’s Audrey Ibarra, Joanne Grey, Juanita Lowry, Margaret Lowry-Campos. She was very loved and will be missed. She is now in the loving arms of her beloved husband, Lonnie Shaw and her mother, Annabelle Lowry.  

Viewing: January 17, 2025 5:30 P.M. - 8:30 P.M. at the Verde House of Prayer (Sine Street, Middle Verde Rez)

Services: January 18, 2025 10:00 A.M. at the Yavapai-Apache Nation Gymnasium. Potluck to following after burial at the YAN Rec building.
