Glenn L. Lewis Jr. passed away on September 4, 2024, in Camp Verde, AZ. It was a beautiful, clear morning as the sun was rising for the day, with his family by his bedside.
Glenn was born October 15, 1951, in Cottonwood, AZ, to Glenn L. Lewis Sr. and Nora Hans Lewis. He attended public school in 1970 and then went on to attend college at Arizona State University and Eastern Arizona College before finally finding his interest in pursuing a career as a journeyman electrician.
Glenn worked at various power plants around AZ, eventually working with a local electrical service business in Globe AZ.
A lifelong ardent woodwind instrument player and appreciator, he was a participant in the Globe High School band, playing the clarinet. He also participated in summer concert bands in and around the Globe, AZ area.
Glenn married Toni Smith Rakes in 2016 and resided in Camp Verde, AZ. He also leaves behind his sisters, Evelyn Lewis and Trudy Clark (Thomas); aunts, Irene Lewis and Mary Lewis; and many nieces and nephews.
As per his wishes, the family will gather to celebrate Glenn, his love of good food, his wacky sense of humor, his love, and his friendship.
