Gerald Raymond McElhaney

Gerald McElhaney, known by his friends and family as ‘Jerry’, passed away Thursday, April 23 at Haven Health in Camp Verde, Arizona.  He was born in Phoenix, Arizona on July 25, 1939.  Prior to taking residence at the Haven in December of 2025 he lived in Camp Verde for the last 30 years.  Jerry lived an active and productive life.  Early on in his career he owned a grocery store in Payson, Arizona.  Later, he took employment with a ground based satellite TV company that provided satellite TV to the Navajo and Hopi reservations in Northern Arizona.  During that time he studied for and obtained an FCC license.  He was an expert on antenna reception and design in addition to many other areas of the satellite TV industry.  He lived a very full and exciting life. Gerald (Jerry) McElhaney will be greatly missed.  He is survived by his wife Rosalyn, and his daughter Carol of Cottonwood, Arizona, Daniel of Scottsdale, Arizona and Aaron of Redding, California.  Jerry has five  grandchildren.
