Elisa Vera Valenzuela

Elisa "Vera" Valenzuela passed away on Nov 11, 2023 at her home in Cottonwood, AZ, with family by her side.  

Vera was born on April 22, 1944, in Camp Verde, AZ. She lived in the Verde Valley her entire life. 

She was a loving sister to 6 brothers and 5 sisters. Vera never had any children of her own but she treated all of her nieces and nephews, and great niece and nephews, like they were her own children. 

Vera was a very special person, who loved crocheting, crafting and playing games with her family and friends. She has left so many people with wonderful and loving memories, and will be greatly missed. 

She is survived by her siblings, Rudy Valenzuela, Delores Philip, Christine Tacker, Joe Valenzuela, Raymond Valenzuela, Francis Bailey, Jesse Valenzuela and Chico Valenzuela. She was preceded in death by her parents, Alfredo and Eduarda Valenzuela; her sisters, Ernestine Escalante and Carmen “ Karm “ Valenzuela; her brothers, Alfred Valenzuela and Elias “Lee” Valenzuela; and nephew, Alfred L. Harbison.  

The Valenzuela family wants to thank the Northern AZ Hospice staff for all that they’ve done. 

The Valenzuela family will celebrate her life and love with a private gathering.
