Dean Chetwynd, a beloved husband, father, grandfather, and friend, passed away peacefully on December 27, 2024, at the age of 66, after a courageous battle with cancer. He was born on September 27, 1958, in Leicester, England. He moved to the US when he was young and spent most of his years in the serene town of Cottonwood, Arizona, where he found joy and fulfillment in his community and family.
Dean is survived by his devoted wife, Linda Hoffman, with whom he shared a wonderful marriage for 35 years. Together, they created a loving home filled with laughter, faith, and art. Dean was also a proud father to Tawny (Josh), Eric (Tiffany), and Jaime. He was a cherished grandfather to Summer, Tyler, Katlyn, Matthew and Jojo and and a great-grandfather to Zia, Oliver and Oakley. His family meant the world to him, and he took great pleasure in being a guiding light in their lives, always ready with a supportive word or a warm embrace.
A service celebrating Dean's life will be held at Journey Church on February 8, 2025, at 3:00 PM. Friends, family, and all whose lives he touched are invited to join in honoring his legacy and the profound impact he had on so many.
