David Nathan Saimo
1982 – 2025

David Nathan Saimo, born on November 20, 1982, in Cottonwood, Arizona, a beloved son, an awesome brother, and a loving father who grew up in Sedona, Arizona, passed away unexpectedly on March 31, 2025, at the age of 42. He will be missed more than words will ever tell and he has left an indelible mark on the lives of those who knew him.

A skilled landscape designer trained by his father Shigeki Saimo, David had built a successful landscaping business serving the Verde Valley. His passion for the outdoors extended beyond his professional life with a particular love for BMX biking and outdoor activities. However, nothing meant more to David than his daughter Miley, whom he loved deeply and was immensely proud of.

David is survived by his loving partner, Abriana Serna; his parents, Shigeki and Daveen Saimo; and his siblings, CeCe Saimo and Dan Saimo. He also leaves behind numerous aunts, uncles, and many cherished friends, Ricky, Steven, Isaac, Paul, and Danny.

Celebration of Life
A Celebration of David’s life will be held Saturday, June 28 th , 2025 at 11:00am at a private home in Cornville. This gathering will be an opportunity for family and friends to share stories, remember David, and provide comfort to one another during this difficult time.
Lunch will be served following the celebration.
