Claudette Jane Gifford was born in Roswell, New Mexico on October 24,1932 and passed 3 days short of her 92nd birthday on October 21,2024.
She is now pain free and at peace with her loved ones in heaven.
Claudette spent her childhood years in Flagstaff, Arizona. She grew up in what were the fading days of the Old West. She often spoke about her memories of cowboys, ranches and native Americans.
As an Adult, she moved to Camp Verde and was truly a pioneer of the Verde Valley.
In the last 10 years, she shared her wisdom and stories with anyone she met. As her neighbors and caregivers, my husband and I, Ken and Judy Wilson, were blessed to have her as our mentor.
Claudette was preceded in death by her loving husband, Arthur Gifford, her mother Hazel Galt and her sister Bobbette Banbury.
She is survived by her brother Earl James Lockridge and his wife Carol, Her sister Betty Jones, her stepdaughters, Donna Bond and Johnnie George, plus many cousins, nieces and nephews.
Claudette, We Love and Miss you with All Our Hearts.
