Cindy Lee (Curtin) Gunnarson

Cindy L Gunnarson (Curtin), 73, of Cottonwood, Arizona passed away at her home on Sunday, March 19, 2023. She was born in Waterloo, Iowa on February 7, 1950 to the late Marcella Bryant and John Curtin.
 

Cindy was a loving, kind and caring mother, grandmother and great-grandmother. She loved her family and her friends, and has said, “they are my life.”  She loved music and her pets, especially her dog, Charlie and her bird, Boo-Boo. She was free spirited, and loved to travel. Cindy was generous with her time and her money, even though she did not have much herself. She had a passion for health and was always hopeful. She cared for the elderly and gave to those in need, including regular donations to the local Verde Valley Senior Citizens Center.
 

Cindy is survived by her children, Debbie (John), Johnny, Bobby (Lisa), and Becky (Chris); 16 grand children, 21 great-grandchildren and many nieces and nephews. She is also survived by her sister, Melissa, and her brother, Chris. She is preceded in death by her parents Marcy and Dick; her sisters, Joy and Jill and her stepbrother, Kenny.
 

There will be a celebration of life held in the future, details will be provided at a later date.
