Bonnie Sue (Rhoades) Reeves, 81 of Cottonwood, AZ, passed away on September 21st, 2025 from natural causes.
Bonnie was born April 8th, 1944 in Vallego, CA to Bill and Vivian Rhoades from Klamath Falls, OR.
From a very early age Bonnie carried a deep love of learning and laughter that would guide her throughout her life. In 1970 she earned her bachelor’s degree in education and went on to acquire her master’s degree from Southern Oregon University in Ashland, Oregon.
A dedicated and inspiring educator, Bonnie spent over 30 years teaching elementary school in both Talent, Oregon and Klamath Falls, Oregon. She was a devoted and exciting teacher who made every child feel seen and valued. Her students adored her and her colleagues cherished her warmth and energy.
Bonnie was married twice; first to Bradford Blofsky from Klamath Falls, OR and later to Melvin Reeves, whom she shared 35 wonderful years of marriage. Together they built a life around boating, car shows, travel and time spent with family and friends.
Bonnie was the matriarch of her family, the glue that held everyone together. Her strength and presence will be deeply missed.
She is survived by her children Shane (Debra) Blofsky, Teresa Blofsky and Jayson Blofsky; her brother Bradley (Debbie) Rhoades; her beloved grandchildren Brandi Nason, Dustin Nason, Cory (Chelsea) Blofsky, Brooklyn (Chris) Edwards, Blake McEvoy and Jenika Blofsky; and 8 beautiful great-grandchildren.
Bonnie was preceded in death by her parents Bill and Vivian; her brother Dale; husbands Brad and Melvin and her granddaughter Nicole Nason.
Her family finds comfort in knowing her love lives on in all of those that she taught, guided and inspired.
