Beverlee G. Jones (age 78), of Camp Verde, Arizona passed away on November 19, 2024. Bev
will be missed by many.
Bev was born on February 11, 1946 in Santa Monica, California to Gail Allison and Marjorie
Allison (Witmond). She graduated from Grants Pass High School in 1964. She got married in
Grants Pass in August 1964 and proceeded to have two sons. She then married Gary H. Jones in
1993 in Oregon and the couple moved to Arizona in 1998. Bev and Gary were involved with
search and rescue, owned a rock quarry, and owned a mobile home park. They sought out
adventures wherever they went whether it be river rafting, exploring a new town or hobby, or
meeting up with old or new friends and creating memorable moments for all. Bev was very
passionate about her essential oils business that she started many years ago and continued for
the remainder of her life.
Bev was a free spirit, very creative, and loved adventure. Bev loved meeting new people and
learning their stories. At one time in Bev’s life, she was very involved with go karts and
drumming with Native Americans. Bev had a unique sense of humor and tried to infuse shock
and awe in other’s lives in a positive way. Bev was incredibly generous and thoughtful and
always tried to assist people in need. Even as a teenager, Bev would get a family’s name that
was on welfare and encourage friends to gather donations to make the family’s Christmas a bit
brighter. One year she hid Easter eggs in the park for any homeless individuals. She would also
try to purchase something extra for someone in a store that appeared to be experiencing
challenges.
Bev is survived by her husband, Gary; her son Scott; her sister Sandra Hendricks; her brothers
Ronald and Randall Allison; her granddaughter Macensie Cain; as well as her extended family
and many friends. She is preceded in death by her father Gail Allison, her mother Marjorie
Allison, and her son Theodore Ogle.
No services are scheduled and the family requests donations to charities that focus on feeding
those in need, in lieu of flowers.
