Catt, Arlene F., 92, passed away on November 20, 2024. Arlene was born in May of 1932 in McKeesport, PA. In 1933, as a one-year-old, she rode in a Ford Model T as her family drove cross-country to Arizona where they lived on an old mine on the Salt River.
Arlene dedicated her life to raising her children and taking care of her family. When her children were grown, she volunteered for United Methodist Women, where she ultimately served as the Conference President. She and Don enjoyed fishing, camping, traveling, and spending their summers in the cooler weather and trees of Pinetop, AZ. Arlene was known as an amazing cook and could be found working on various crafts, from decorating gourds to making pine needle baskets.
Arlene touched many lives and will be missed by many more.
Arlene is survived by her daughter, Sharon, in Clarkdale, AZ, her son, Vernon, and his wife, Monika, who live in Austria, and her five grandchildren and eight great-grandchildren.
Memorial Services will be held Saturday, December 14, 2024, 10:15 am, at Paradise Valley United Methodist Church, 4455 E Lincoln Dr., Paradise Valley, AZ with fellowship and lunch immediately afterward.
