Sharon McNiel

Sharon McNiel, 74, long time resident of Camp Verde, was born January 5, 1942 and passed peacefully in her sleep on June 1, 2016.  She is survived by her husband, Sam McNiel; her children, Ray Dunston, Sandi DiRuzza, Robert Dunston, Mary Dunston and Sami Jo Audilett.  She was grandmother to 14 grandchildren and 11 great-grandchildren.

She asked that there be no memorial, just that family and friends remember her having fun and being the crazy and beautiful person she was.  Our family appreciates your honoring her request.

She was a beautiful and crazy person and will be missed. I have such good memories from when we lived across the road in Camp Verde. I am so thankful for our recent reconnection with her and Sam as we RV around the country.

Sharon was always the best! I grew up across the street from the family and there were several conversations Sharon and I had where she told me how much she loved her kids. She's tell me stories about each of them, and always end it with "I'd do anything for them" Sharon was a blessing in my life during a hard time, she was also the funnest mom on the "block". Blessed Be Sharon and peace be to her family.
